Kazakh Energy Minister, US Assistant Secretary of State discussed development of petrotransport system
Astana. February 6. The Kazakh Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bakhtykozha Izmukhambetov and the USA Assistant Secretary of State for Economy, Energy and Business Daniel Sullivan discussed the questions of development of petrotransport system of Kazakhstan, Energy Ministry press service informed.
According to the press service, during the meeting B. Izmuhambetov informed the participants on the current situation in oil-and-gas sphere, the questions and prospects of tripartite cooperation of Kazakhstan - the USA - Russia.
During the negotiations the parties discussed potential of Transcaspian oil and gas pipeline, the Kazakhstan Caspian transport system, functioning of the Caspian pipeline consortium, oil and gas pipelines from Kazakhstan to China, and possible cooperation in oil-and-gas sphere between Kazakhstan and the U.S.A.
