Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held the meeting with the Board of Directors of the Company Kazahmys Corporation, the press service of the president's administration informed the agency. During the meeting the President of the Company Kazahmys Corporation Vladimir Kim informed the leader of the state on the results of the work of the corporation in 2007 and the plans for development for 2008. The session of the Board of Directors of Kazakhmys for the first time took place in Astana. On behalf of the President the session will be held annually in Kazakhstan. "Today Kazahmys held a very important session. We discussed new projects, which will allow increasing profitability of the company. $14 million has been allocated for their realization," the independent director of Kazahmys Lord Renwick said at the briefing.
