Masimov to take part in session of commission concerning construction of atomic power station
Aktau. November 22. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov will take part in the session of the interdepartmental commission concerning acceleration of realization of the project and construction of the atomic power station in Aktau, the agency reports referring to the press service of akimat of Mangistau oblast.
According to the press service, K. Masimov will pay a one-day working trip to Mangistau oblast where he will visit the Company Kazatomprom.
As it was informed earlier, the joint venture of Company Kazatomprom (50 %) and Open Society Atomstroiexport (50 %), which conducts completion of design documentation and feasibility report on construction of the atomic power station was created in August, 2006. This is a designing and construction in Kazakhstan nuclear station with power units of new type -300, the developer of which is the developmental mechanical engineering bureau named after I. Afrikantov (Nizhni Novgorod). Under the working version, the atomic power station can consist of three similar blocks.
K. Masimov will take part in opening the Center of service of the population in recently created new area Munaylin, will familiarize with the course of construction of the University campus and will take part in presentation of concessionary projects. The same day in the evening the Prime Minister will leave for Turkmenistan to take part in the next session of CIS prime ministers in Ashkhabad.
