Kazakh President received Prime Minister
Astana. February 6. Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Karim Masimov reported on the results of the year, the results of the accomplished work and the project of the government program for 2007 - 2009 at the meeting with President Nursultan Nazarbayev on Monday, the president's press service informed.
The document has been created according to the assignments given by the President on January 10 at the joint session of the Parliament Chambers. The project of the program is intended for the forthcoming three-year period and reflects all aspects of activity of the new government structure.
"All ministries held meetings to reveal the weaknesses that need to be paid attention to with the view of realization of the overall objectives set by the President regarding Kazakhstan becoming one of 50 most competitive countries of the world. These are the problems of improvement of economic policy and the administrative reform," K. Masimov explained after the meeting.
