Kazakhstan plans to finish up bilateral negotiations on WTO introduction with Canada and Malaysia
Astana. November 29. Kazakhstan Today - The Republic of Kazakhstan plans to finish bilateral negotiations on WTO introduction with Canada and Malaysia up to the end of the year. Vice Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan Zhanar Aytzhanova said on Wednesday during the seminar - Introduction to WTO: interests of business, the agency reports.
She reminded that the working group for WTO introduction includes 38 countries - participants of WTO having bilateral negotiations with 25 countries. As of today, as she said, reports on completion of bilateral negotiations have been signed with 18 countries. Z. Aytzhanova noted that "now the negotiations are in the active phase with 5 parties - Australia, the EU, the USA, India and Canada."
She specified that the negotiations on WTO introduction are being conducted in four basic directions: in the field of agriculture, access to the market of services, commodity market and system issues including the questions of improvement of domestic legislation
