Kazakhstan Today - The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) expressed interest in financing the motorway Tashkent - Shymkent - Taraz - Korday of transit corridor - Western Europe - Western China, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan. According to the press service, during the meeting taken place on Monday the Ministry of Transport and Communications and IDB mission in Kazakhstan discussed the main tendencies of economic development, priorities of development of the sector with corresponding structures, the questions of development of IDB three-year working program for 2008 - 2010, and proposals planned to be included in IDB three-year working program. "The meeting was held under the presidency of vice Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan Dulat Kuterbekov. The Director of Department-1 Yusuf Khan represented the IDB mission in Kazakhstan," the ministry informed.
