Mittal Steel Temirtau to invest $500 million to increase coal mining

Kazakhstan Today - Mittal Steel Temirtau will direct investments up to $400-$500 million for increase in coal mining, the president of the board of directors of Arselor Mittal Lakshmi Mittal informed after the meeting with the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the agency reports.
I told the President that we wish to increase volumes of manufacture of coal in Karaganda from 12 million up to 17 million tons," he said. "The program of investments will total nearly $400-500 million," L. Mittal specified.
