Kazakhstan Today - Following the results of 2007 commodity turnover of Russia and Kazakhstan will reach $16 bn, Kazakhstan and China - $10 bn, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stated addressing the diplomats of foreign countries accredited in Kazakhstan on Monday, the agency reports.
"Commodity turnover between Kazakhstan and Russia this year will reach $16 bn and will grow this year by almost 25 % in comparison with the last year. In connection with the Peoples Republic of China the objective was to increase turnover up to $10 bn in 2010. The objective will be achieved this year," N. Nazarbayev said.
"The important place in Kazakhstan-Russian relations is joint projects in the area of power, transport and space," the President of Kazakhstan emphasized.
