Parliament ratified Frame agreement on technical assistance between Kazakhstan government and ADB

Astana. December 12. Kazakhstan Today - The Senate deputies adopted the law on ratification of the Frame agreement on technical assistance between Kazakhstan government and the Asian Development Bank at the plenary session, the agency reports. As it was informed earlier, the agreement was signed on October 5, 1995. According to the document, technical assistance is realized by advisers that are eligible for a number of privileges specified in the convention. According to item 7 of the appendix the advisers are exempt from: suit concerning all actions made within the limits of technical help; immigration restrictions; requirements of registration of foreign citizens; order of import and export of foreign currency. According to item 9 of the appendix the government of Kazakhstan undertakes to release advisers from expenses on payment of all taxes, dues and other payments connected with realization of any technical assistance, import of any equipment, vehicles and materials on the territory of Kazakhstan for realization of technical help. The law has been transferred to the leader of the state.
