Cooperation agreement on construction of Near-Caspian gas pipeline signed in Moscow
Moscow. December 21. Kazakhstan Today - The tripartite document - the intergovernmental agreement of Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan on cooperation in construction of the Near-Caspian gas pipeline was signed in Moscow on Thursday, the agency reports.
The document was signed in the presence of the Presidents of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Russia Vladimir Putin. The Minister of Industry and Commerce Gayle Orazbakov signed the agreement from the Kazakhstan party, Russian - the Minister of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation Victor Khristenko, Turkmen - the Executive Director of the state agency on management and use of hydrocarbon resources of Turkmenistan Bayrammurad Muradov.
The gas pipeline will be constructed up to the end of 2010 and will be built along the east coast of the Caspian Sea.
