Masimov presented new chairman of Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies
Astana. December 24. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov presented the collective the new chairman of the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies Nurlan Aldabergenov, the agency reports referring to the press service of prime minister.
According to the press service, during his speech K. Masimov noted N. Aldabergenov's professional experience and gave him the first assignment.
"I publicly promised that in the first quarter of 2008 tariffs will not be raised. We will closely consider it as the tool both economic and social. This question needs to be under constant control," the Prime Minister said.
N. Aldabergenov was born on November 19, 1962 in Alma-Ata. He graduated from the Alma-Aty Architectural and Construction Institute, Moscow Institute of Engineering and Construction named after Kuibyshev and Kunayev University. He is a builder -engineer, lawyer, Candidate of Economic Sciences.
Since 1996 he worked as the vice-president of the committee for Pricing and Antimonopoly Policy of Almaty. Since 1999 he was the Director of the Department on Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Competition Protection in Almaty. Since September, 2004 he occupied the position of the vice-president of the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies.
He was appointed for the post of the chairman of the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies by the governmental decree.
