60 million tons of oil extracted in Kazakhstan as of December 19
Astana. December 24. Kazakhstan Today - As of December 19, 2007 Kazakhstan extracted 64.764 million tons of oil that is by 4 % more than for the similar period of last year. Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Lazzat Kiinov said at the government selector meeting.
"64.764 million tons of oil have been extracted as a whole for 11 months and 18 days of December, that is approximately by four percent more than for the same period of last year," L. Kiinov said.
"Production of gasoline has grown by 112.8 %, diesel oil - by 112. 4 %, production of avia kerosene has made approximately 92 % in comparison with the last year," he noted.
L. Kiinov noted that from the beginning of the year the price for mineral oil has increased as a whole in the Republic by 4-10 KZT, depending on kind of fuel, except for Zhambyl oblast, where for the last one and a half month the price for gasoline A-80 has grown by about 55 KZT up to 74 KZT.
