Kazakhstan Today - Realistic scenario will be realized in Kazakhstan economy in 2008, Anvar Saydenov, the chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, said at the briefing in Astana on Tuesday, the agency reports. "I think realistic scenario will be realized in Kazakhstan economy that is favored by high prices for all export items - oil, metal and grain. Macroeconomic parameters will be favorable," he said. "Rates of economic growth in 2008 will be slowed down up to 5-7%. Slowing down of the economic growth has been caused by the situation developed at the international financial markets," he explained.
