Kazakhstan needs law on regulating consumption of heat, electricity and water

Almaty. January 11. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan needs to adopt the new law regulating consumption of heat, electricity and water. The representatives of the antimonopoly committee and society of protection of the rights of consumers in Almaty and Almaty oblast stated their opinion during the round table, the agency reports referring to the telechannel KTK. In the opinion of the participants of the round table, "the existing laws do not allow monopolists to pursue the policy of energy economy. For this reason tariffs are increasing," the telechannel quotes. The representatives of the antimonopoly committee assure that, "if all turns out well, the city will save up to 30 % of energy resources or more than 20 billion KZT."
