KazAgroFinance to issue euro bonds for $200 million

Astana. January 17. Kazakhstan Today - KazAgroFinance plans to issue in 2008 euro bonds for the sum of $200 million, the President of the company Ibragim Tagashev said at the session of the Ministry of Agriculture, the agency reports. He noted, "in 2008 the sum of budgetary financing will make about 3.3 billion KZT." "We plan to invest approximately 50 billion KZT for further development of agrarian and industrial complex," he emphasized. KazAgroFinance - the company was created by the governmental decree in 1999. 100 % of actions of the company are the property of the state. The main purpose of creation of KazAgroFinance - support of development of the agrarian sector of the Republic by providing access of agricultural commodity producers to financial assets.
