National companies in Samruk holding structure paid taxes - $5 billion in 2006 - 2007
Almaty. January 22. Kazakhstan Today - In 2006 - 2007 the national companies in the structure of Samruk holding paid taxes at the sum of $5 billion. The chairman of the board of directors of the Kazakhstan Company on management of state assets Samruk Richard Evans informed Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev, the agency reports referring to the site of Kazakhstan President.
According to the site, R. Evans presented the President the report on the results of activity of Samruk holding for the last year.
According to R. Evans, in the first half of last year the holding introduced modern standards of corporate management that has considerably increased Samruk rating at the London stock exchange. The second half of last year was devoted to the activity of the national oil-and-gas company KazMunaiGas and Kashagan problem, which has been recently resolved successfully.
During the meeting the leader of the state set to the management of the Kazakhstan holding on management of state assets Samruk a number of new objectives for 2008.
