ENRC to invest 2.8 billion for development of business in Kazakhstan
Astana. January 25. Kazakhstan Today - Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC) plans to invest for development of business in Kazakhstan about $2.8 billion, General Director of the Corporation Y. Sitard informed at the meeting with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov on Thursday, the agency reports referring to the prime minister's press service.
According to the press service, during the meeting Y. Sitard informed K. Masimov on investment strategy of the corporation, according to which ENRC plans to direct about $2.8 billion for development of business in Kazakhstan.
"The interlocutors discussed the results of public investment at the London stock exchange the shares of the Kazakhstan mining-metallurgical holding (IPO)," the press service informed.
In the opinion of the chairman of the company, successful carrying out IPO and the subsequent capitalization will promote further realization of investment projects ENRC in Kazakhstan.
I. Sitard on behalf of the shareholders ENRC thanked the Prime Minister for support and expressed hope that fruitful cooperation of the company with the government will allow developing business in Kazakhstan, to create additional workplaces and finally, raise macroeconomic feedback from the extracting sector.
