6-magnitude earthquake struck Eastern Kazakhstan

Almaty. January 30. Kazakhstan Today - Today at night 6-magnitude earthquake struck Eastern Kazakhstan. The Institute of Seismology of the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Kazakhstan informs, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency. According to the press service of the Emergency Ministry, the earthquake in the epicenter in 980 kilometers of the northeast from Almaty struck at the border of Kazakhstan with Russia on January 30 at 2.02. The nearest settlements: city of Semey and Zaisan. According to the press service of the Emergency Ministry, the magnitude of the tremors in the epicentre reached six points. Tremors were felt in the city of Semipalatinsk. There are neither victims nor injured.
