Kazakhstan, Russia carrying out work on preparation new international contracts in space sphere
Astana. February 1. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan and Russia are carrying out the work on preparation for signing of some new bilateral international contracts in space sphere. The chairman of the National Space Agency Talgat Musabayev said today during the session of the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan, Kazcosmos, the agency reports.
He explained that it is a question of "the base intergovernmental cooperation agreement in the field of research and use of space for peaceful purposes, which will create the legal basis for realization of all subsequent space projects."
T. Musabayev also informed that Kazakhstan considers "possible aspects of cooperation with Russia on the project of creation of world space observatory for receiving new scientific data about space objects."
"The memorandum of mutual understanding between Kazcosmos and Roscosmos on cooperation in this project has been already signed," the chairman of the National Space Agency specified.
