Rates of growth of Kazakhstan economy made 8.5 % in 2007
Astana. February 6. Kazakhstan Today - Rates of growth of the national economy made 8.5 % in 2007. The President Nursultan Nazarbayev stated today presenting the annual message to the people of Kazakhstan, the agency reports.
"Rates of growth of the national economy made 8.5 % and since 2001 the economy has grown on average by 10 % a year. It is considered accelerated development," N. Nazarbayev stated.
The President emphasized that "significant reserve of the country, which makes about $40 billion of dollars, including the assets of the National Fund, has been generated."
"Availability of significant accumulation has played a key role in maintenance of stability of the financial system," the leader of the state emphasized.
