Masimov charged to cancel contracts with subsoil users not fulfilling their obligations
Astana. February 7. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov charged to cancel the contracts with all subsoil users who do not fulfill their obligations. The Prime Minister gave the assignment during the session of the board of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the agency reports.
According to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev, 831 objects were inspected within 2007 in Kazakhstan: execution of financial obligations by 100 % has been provided by only 454 contractors, less than 30 % has been executed by 97 contractors. "These 97 contracts have been already dissolved. Notification about infringements of contract obligations and license conditions have been directed to 182 contractors," the minister emphasized.
