According to the press service of the National Bank with the reference to the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan, the prices for articles of food in January, 2008 increased by 1.6 %, non-food products - by 0.8 %, paid services - by 0.6 %. In January, 2008 annual inflation made 18.7 % (in December, 2007 - 18.8 %). Prices for articles of food went up by 26.6 %, non- food products - by 11 %, paid services - by 14.9 %, the press service of the National Bank informs.
