Astana. February 14. Kazakhstan Today - The National Bank of Kazakhstan intends not to admit extreme fluctuation of KZT exchange rate in 2008. The chairman of the National Bank Anvar Saydenov informed today at the expanded government session. "In conditions of pressure upon KZT exchange rate towards its weakening, the National Bank will not admit sharp short-term fluctuations of the exchange rate of tenge," A. Saydenov said. A. Saydenov noted in 2008 the National Bank along with the government plans a number of measures directed at maintenance of stability of prices in the country.
