Astana. February 15. Kazakhstan Today - The government of Kazakhstan will strengthen rigid monitoring of inflationary processes in the country, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov stated at the expanded government session in Astana on Thursday.
He reminded that last year the national economy "experienced a phenomenon of inflation import, first of all, due to growth of world prices for foodstuffs and energy carriers." "The government managed to stabilize inflationary situation, having accepted a number of operative and effective measures," the Prime Minister emphasized.
"For development of competition as the system factor of decrease of inflation, the new agency on protection of competition has been created," he emphasized. The new law On Competition Protection will be developed and struggle against price agreement has been strengthened.
