Nazarbayev made a number of personnel appointments in president's administration

Astana. February 15. Kazakhstan Today - The leader of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev made a number of personnel rearrangements in the structure of the president's administration, the agency reports referring to the president's press service. The leader of the state signed the decree on appointment of Onalsyn Zhumabekov for the post of the chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of Kazakhstan. He has been dismissed from the post of deputy chairman of the president's administration. Aset Isekeshev has been appointed the president's assistant by the president's decree. According to the press service, in connection with the change in the structure of the president's administration the decree of the President of Kazakhstan has appointed: Kuandyk Bishimbayev - the chairman of the Department of Social and Economic Monitoring; Talgat Donakov - chairman of Legal Department; Mirbolat Zhakupov - the chairman of the Department of Public Records; Serikzhan Kanayev - the chairman of the Department of State Control and Personnel Work; Yerlan Karin - the chairman of the Department of Internal Policy; Maksat Mukhanov - the chairman of the Center for Strategic Development and Research. As it was informed earlier, on February 12, the leader of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the decree On Personnel and Structure of Administration of the President of Kazakhstan. The decree is directed at improvement of the work and modernization of the structure of the president's administration within the limits of the administrative reform, according to the goals formulated in the Message of the leader of the state of February 6, 2008. As a whole, the quantity of structural divisions of the administration has been reduced from 22 to 13, number of employees has been reduced by 10 %.
