Kazakhstan PM charged to introduce amendments to legislation toughening requirements for investors
Astana. February 19. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov has charged to introduce amendments to the legislation, toughening the requirements to investors regarding observance of safety precautions, the agency reports.
"I think that the amendments should be introduced to the legislation so that they will come into effect since January 1, 2009, K. Masimov said today during the government session.
The Prime Minister emphasized that it is necessary "to decide at the legislative level what requirements the government should introduce for development of coal and other deposits.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the new contracts on subsoil use should include all the necessary conditions regarding safety precautions.
