President's assistant - Secretary of Security Council appointed

Astana. February 20. Kazakhstan Today - Berik Imashev has been appointed the president's assistant - Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the agency reports referring to the president's press service. According to the press service, Berik Imashev has been appointed the president's assistant - Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the president's decree. B. Imashev was born in June, 1960 in Almaty. He graduated from Moscow State University, Law Faculty. He worked in the State Office of Public Prosecutor of Kazakhstan, in the Agency for Small Enterprises Support, was vice chairman of Kazkommertsbank, vice chairman of the State Property Committee, the assistant to the president for development of small enterprises affairs. He also occupied the post of the chairman of Kazakhstan Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies, Protection of Competition and Small Enterprises Support. He was the assistant to the Secretary of the Security Council of Kazakhstan till May, 2005. On October 18, 2005 B. Imashev was vice chairman of the president's administration of Kazakhstan.
