Kazakhstan Today - During the working visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov to the United Arab Emirates three memorandums of the mutual understanding, concerning realizations of large investment projects were signed, the agency reports referring to the government's press service on Sunday. According to the press service, on February 16-17, 2008 during the working visit of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan K. Masimov to the United Arab Emirates, the Prime Minister held the meeting with the President of the country Sheikh Halif ben Zaid Al-Nahayan, the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed ben Rashid Al Maktum, Crown Prince of the Emirates Abu Dabi Sheikh Muhammad ben Zaid Al Nahayan, and the Executive Director of Dubay Corporation Dubai World Sultan Ahmed ben Suley. "On February 17, following the results of the meetings, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan K. Masimov and the Minister for the UAE President's Affairs, Sheikh Mansur ben Zaid Al-Nahayan signed three memorandums: the Memorandum of mutual understanding in the field of construction of petrochemical complex in the Western Kazakhstan between the National Company KazMunayGas and the international oil investment company IPIC, the Memorandum of mutual understanding in development of bauxite deposits and construction of the aluminium factory in Kostanay oblast between the Emirates Company Mubadala and social-enterprising corporation Tobol, and also the Memorandum of mutual understanding in the field of investment in creation and development of the factory of chemical and mineral fertilizers between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan and IPIC Company, the government press service widespread on Monday states. According to the press service, during K. Masimov's last negotiations with the Crown Prince of the Emirates Abu Dabi Sheikh Muhammad ben Zaid Al-Nahayan and the Executive Director of Dubay Corporation Dubai World Sultan Ahmed ben Suleym the parties confirmed aspiration of two countries in realization of the arrangements reached during the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev visit to the United Arab Emirates in November, 2007.
