Arcelor Mittal run into debt of more than 100 billion KZT to Kazakhstan in the form of taxes
Karaganda. February 27. Kazakhstan Today - Arcelor Mittal Temirtau Company should pay to the budget of the state debt at the rate of more than 100 billion KZT in the form of taxes. The press secretary of Tax Committee of Karaganda oblast Baurzhan Orazgaliyev informed the agency.
"The employees of the regional tax committee along with the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan revealed it during the inspection, having checked the work of the company Arcelor Mittal in 2007," B. Orazgaliyev explained.
Arcelor Mittal Temirtau Company has not agreed with the results of inspection and appealed in the economic court of Karaganda. However, the court rejected the appeal, considering the amount imposed by the tax service lawful.
One of these days the court verdict will come into force, but the lawyers of the Company Arcelor Mittal have appealed to the regional court.
Each appeal to court costs the company 500 million KZT.
