Memorandum between Ministries of Transport of Kazakhstan and Russia on motor roads - Western Europe - Western China to be signed till April 1
Astana. March 7. Kazakhstan Today - The memorandum between the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Transport the Russian Federation on cooperation and development of motor roads connecting Western Europe and Western China along the route St. Petersburg - Kazan - Orenburg - Aktobe - Almaty - border of the Peoples Republic of China, will be prepared for signing till April 1, the agency reports referring to the press service of Transport Ministry of Kazakhstan.
According to the press service, the 5th session of the subcommittee on transport within the limits of the intergovernmental commission on cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia took place on March 4-5, 2008 in Astana. The Kazakhstan party of the subcommittee was headed by the Responsible Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications Abelgazi Kusainov. The Russian party was headed by the State Secretary - Vice Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Sergey Aristov.
"The parties considered the project of the Memorandum between the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation on cooperation and development of motor roads connecting Western Europe and Western China along the route St. Petersburg - Kazan - Orenburg - Aktobe - Almaty - border of the Peoples Republic of China. The parties agreed to coordinate the project and prepare it for signing till April 1," the Transport Ministry of Kazakhstan press service informs.
During the meeting the parties shared data on the work carried out in the field of comparative estimation of variants of construction of hydro transport connection of the Caspian and Azov-Black Sea pools. Following the results of the session, the parties signed the Protocol.
