Astana. February 12. Kazakhstan Today - The Kazakh leader Nursultan Nazarbayev received the chairman of the international supervisory council Citygroup James Wolfensohn, the agency reports referring to the president's press service. During the meeting the parties discussed the questions of economic development of Kazakhstan and formation of Regional financial centre of Almaty. D.Wolfensohn will take part in the working out of the plan of development of the Regional financial centre of Almaty, as the non-staff adviser of the President, and will analyze the work of the center advisers. The World Bank ex-president J. Wolfensohn noted the necessity to carry out wide information campaign to popularize knowledge of the share market functioning in Kazakhstan.
