Joint investment fund to become one of important mechanisms of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan
Bishkek. March 18. Kazakhstan Today - Joint investment fund created by Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will become one of the important mechanisms of cooperation between two republics. The Minister of Economic Development and Commerce Akylbek Zhaparov informed, the agency reports.
"All the necessary questions regarding the fund will be considered during the forthcoming session of the Interstate Council of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in Astana. The fund was founded during last year's visit of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Bishkek and provides financing of joint projects, being priority for Kyrgyzstan. All preparatory work connected with the fund has come to an end," A. Zhaparov considers.
A number of other important questions, important for both parties, have been included to the agenda of the forthcoming session. These are the projects connected with construction of the road Almaty - Issyk Kul, with strengthening of cooperation in a number of industries.
