Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met the chairman of the board of the investment company Kingdom Al-Walid Ben Talal Ben Abdel Aziz Al Saud, a royal member of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Thursday, the president's press service informed the agency. During the talks the President noted that Kazakhstan attaches great importance to attraction of business circles of Saudi Arabia to the Kazakhstan market, the press service informed. Two countries support close political dialogue, which forms a reliable basis for expansion of all-round contacts in economic, investment and humanitarian spheres. During the meeting the Prince Al-Walid Ben Talal has expressed the interest in construction in Astana a hotel complex Four Seasons, the message of the press service states. "We plan to involve in Kazakhstan such large companies, as City Bank, Four Seasons, Fairmont for investment in hotel business and other areas of business. We plan to involve in the Kazakhstan economy not only Saudi investments, but also other Arabian countries. The President supported our projects and plans on investment in the economy of Kazakhstan," the chairman of Kingdom said at the briefing for journalists. Holding Company Kingdom - one of the largest world investment structures. It owns control share holdings of three big international companies on management of the elite hotels - Four Seasons, Fairmont and Movenpick. It is the largest shareholder in such world business-groups, as News Corporation Limited, Time Warner, Motorola, Apple Computers, Disneyland Paris and several Saudi banks. The holding invests in development of telecommunication, retail commerce, tourism, public health services, information technologies, restaurant and hotel business, electronics, agriculture, haute couture industry, networks of trading houses and supermarkets, banking sphere and machine-building industry.
