Astana. March 26. Kazakhstan Today - Capital anniversary should demonstrate that Kazakhstan economy is stable. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said today at the meeting in the capital akimat, the agency reports. "Anniversary of the capital should demonstrate that the Kazakhstan economy is stable: the crisis has been overcome, the economy is stable, the investment climate is at the normal level," N. Nazarbayev stated. The President considers that celebration of the anniversary "will attach powerful impulse to development of Astana as the center of international tourism." The Kazakhstan and foreign mass media should organize wide campaigne on presentation of the anniversary of the capital. "It is necessary to show what these 10 years from the moment of carrying over the capital have done for the national development. The President said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should organize attractive advertising of Astana and the program of the holiday. "This work will advance the image of the whole Kazakhstan, and not only Astana," he noted.
