Financial Market Regulation Agency develops system of monitoring of financial stability of banking sector

Astana. March 27. Kazakhstan Today - The Agency for Financial Market Regulation and Supervision of Kazakhstan develops system of monitoring of financial stability of banking sector. Financial Market Regulation Agency chairman Elena Bahmutova stated today during the meeting - stabilization measures of the state in conditions of crisis in the world stock markets on the basis of experience of South Korea, the agency reports. "The agency along with other interested bodies develops the system of indicators of monitoring of financial stability of the banking sector to reveal the risks of the banking system at an early stage, which includes groups of indicators of capitalization, assets quality, concentration of risk, profitability and liquidity," E. Bahmutova said. She emphasized that Financial Market Regulation Agency activity" will be directed at solution of the current problems, in particular, development of tools and methods of reaction to operatively reveal the risks in the financial system." "For these purposes we believe it necessary to develop the bill concerning stability of the financial system that assumes a number of amendments to the legislative acts," E. Bahmutova explained.
