EBRD to keep policy in Kazakhstan unchanged
Astana. April 4. Kazakhstan Today - The European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is not going to change the policy in Kazakhstan. The chairman of the representation of the European Commission in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan Andrian Van der Meer informed today after the country groups sessions of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development in Astana.
"There will be no changes in the policy of EBRD in Kazakhstan. The European Bank of Reconstruction and Development will continue the investment program in development of infrastructure of the country and development of small and medium business. The investment portfolio is going to increase," Andrian Van der Meer said.
The chairman of the representation of the European commission in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan Andrian Van der Meer informed the journalists that during the session of country groups he had an opportunity to present new strategy of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development.
"I told about our help that we will render to the Central Asian countries ... We try to realize the investment projects and to assist in improvement of trade between the countries of the region," Andrian Van der Meer explained.
