Akylbek Kurishbayev appointed Agriculture Minister
Astana. April 9. Kazakhstan Today - Akylbek Kurishbayev has been appointed the Minister of Agriculture. He held the post of Vice Minister of Agriculture, the agency reports.
"He was working as Vice Minister of Agriculture and knows all the problems," the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov said introducing A. Kurishbayev on Tuesday to the personnel of the ministry.
Akylbek Kurishbayev was born in 1961 in Alma-Ata. He graduated from the Agricultural Institute in 1983, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences.
In different years he worked as the junior and senior scientific employee, deputy Director of Science of Williams Kazakhstan Scientific Research Institute of Farming, and Director of Kazakhstan Barayev Grain Husbandry Institute.
