Kazakh PM began working trip to Eastern Kazakhstan
Semipalatinsk. March 6. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of the Republic Karim Masimov began his working trip to the Eastern Kazakhstan oblast, the agency reports.
The airplane with the government members landed today at the airport of Semipalatinsk at 10.15. a.m. The akim of the Eastern Kazakhstan oblast Zhanybek Karibzhanov and akim of Semipalatinsk Nurlan Omarov met the delegation at the airport.
During the trip the Prime Minister will be accompanied by forty officials, including nine ministers: the Minister of Transport and Communication - Serik Akhmetov, the Minister of Health - Anatoly Dernovoy, the Minister of Industry and Commerce - Galym Orazbakov, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources - Bakhtykozha Izmukhambetov, Emergency Minister - Victor Hrapunov, Culture and Information - Yermukhamet Yertysbayev, Justice - Zagipa Baliyeva, Tourism and Sports - Temirkhan Dosmukhanbetov, Labor and Social Protection - Gulzhana Karagusova, four Majilis deputies, the President of Kazatomprom company, the Chairman of the Fund of steady development Kazyna Kayrat Kelimbetov and others.
The Prime Minister headed for Abay region. The head of the government will visit Abay Kunanbayev mausoleum complex located in the natural tract Zhidebay and the settlement Shulbinsk where he will familiarize with the work of Shulbinsk hydroelectric power station.
In the second half of the day, K. Masimov will return to Semipalatinsk where he will visit the city thermal power station-1 and the regional oncological clinic №2.
Today K. Masimov will hold the meeting with the governing body of the city. He will leave for Ust Kamenogorsk where he will continue his working trip.
