Kazakh, Polish financial institutions discussed cooperation issues
ASTANA. March 14. KAZINFORM /Serik Kozhkenov/ - A roundtable titled The opportunities for cooperation of financial and stock institutions of Kazakhstan and Poland initiated by the Kazakh agency for control over the Regional Financial Center of Almaty city jointly with the Almaty akimat and Warsaw Stock Exchange has been held today in EuroCenter business center in Astana.
The main purpose of the roundtable is to let the potential emitters and investors get familiarized with the activity of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty city.
As earlier reported, the delegation was chaired by Minister of Construction of Poland Andrzej Aumiller.
A memorandum of cooperation between the Astana akimat, Warsaw Stock Exchange and the Kazakh Agency controlling activity of the Almaty financial center was signed there.
The Kazakh Agency controlling activity of the Almaty financial center was established with a view of development of the KazakhstanТs stock market, provision of its integration with the analogous international markets and attraction of investments into the Kazakh economy.
