Healthy, intelligent educated nation makes competitive country - Nazarbayev
ALMATY. October 13. KAZINFORM. /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ It takes big investments into human capital to ensure successful development of the economy, according to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev who addressed the audience of the Al Farabi Kzakh National University with a lecture today in Almaty.
"As the experience of South-East Asian countries show the lag in human capital development can be overcome in a relatively short time. Today 14 out of 25 most competitive information companies of the world headquarter in Asia", the President said.
"The countries that do not have competitive advantages will not be able to compete in the sphere of scientific research, innovations and know-how in future. Thus the quality of health, intelligence and education of each citizen will show how high the competitiveness of the country in the world community can be", N. Nazarbayev added.
