ALMATY. November 3. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ This year coal mining in Kazakhstan is expected to reach 93 mln tones. Kazakh Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Duissenbai Turganov has announced it at the Kazakhstan International Exhibition and Forum of Power Engineers Power Kazakhstan-2009.
According to him, the coal production decrease is connected with slowdown in export. Kazakhstan exported 27 mln tones last year, in 2009 - 19 mln tones.
