ASTANA. November 5. KAZINFORM A regular session of the State Commission on Modernization of Economy was held in the Ukimet Uyi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Karim Massimov today. The agenda of the sitting included discussion of four directions of entrepreneurship support. The session participants focused on the issues of implementation of the measures on stimulating business activity of processing industry ventures. In particular, four directions of support of business were considered. These are refinancing obligations of the processing industry enterprises before the second-tier banks, leasing of equipment for small and medium businesses; financing investment projects by the Development Bank of Kazakhstan through the Stress Assets Fund at lowered rates and completion of building shared construction projects in Astana and Almaty cities. KZT 110.5 bln are envisaged for these aims in total. KZT 72 bln of them are provided by the national budget and KZT 38.5 bln are attracted from other sources.
