Prime Minister of Kazakhstan B. Sagintayev noted that the implementation of centralized procurement mechanism on vehicles has increased the capacity of domestic producers and modernize their production.

"We have agreed to hold the work on the furniture and light industry this year. It is necessary to expand the list of sectors, where we will implement the same approach," B.Sagintayev said.

In this regard, the Ministry of Investment and Development, together with NPP was charged in a week's time to make concrete proposals on this issue.

In addition, the Ministry of Finance in cooperation with the concerned government agencies have been instructed to closely monitor the tender documentation for the use of domestic products during all public procurement.

Separately, B.Sagintayev stopped at the quasi-public sector procurement. He noted that there is no common policy in this matter, and requested to develop common approaches on common rules for the procurement of these companies based on transparency and accessibility within one week.

"Based on the data, the Ministry of Finance should develop appropriate bill by the end of the first quarter," instructed B.Sagintayev.

At the same time, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan instructed the Ministry of Investment and Development, Finance, together with the PNP and the national holding to create a unified IT platform for procurement and producers, bringing together all relevant databases, including the quasi-public sector and subsoil.

In addition, the Ministries of Investment and Development, Energy, together with the "Samruk-Kazyna" and the Governor were instructed to work with every large enterprise and to establish a target indicators to increase local content.

"I will keek the issues on public procurement on my personal control," emphasized B.Sagintayev.
